New publications for 2025

Rhodes Cottage Museum, Muizenberg, Cape Town

The book is being produced as there has been no book or article produced on the museum and Tony Westby-Nunn decided it was time to feature the museum as it stands today 2005 before its contents our last to prosterity!

The book shows each and every display and articles of furniture in each room of the cottage. In a number of instances, various pictures/images in the displays and articles in the rooms have been highlighted with additional information on them.

During the research on Rhodes and the book, a number of controversial issues have also been included – some with ‘food for thought’!

There are a number of appendices which make excellent reading and also cover additional information on the life of Cecil John Rhodes.

The book is hoped that the Rhodes scholars and Mandela Rhodes scholars who were fortunate enough to received scholarships from either institution, will obtain a copy so that they know more about the man who has given them the opportunity to further their education and future.
